A Story That Must Be Told

When I started this blog, it was with the intention of raising awareness for food allergies and offering support to people living with them. I’d like to think I’ve done that, if only in a small way. But ever since I started writing about food allergies, I’ve had to wrestle with many different, conflicting emotions. I still have a desire to raise awareness and offer support – yet when I sit down to write, I often come up blank.

The struggles of the food allergy community are REAL, and they are a story that must be told. I don’t want to do a halfway job of it. And I think, in order to re-energize, in order to rediscover the reasons I started this blog, I need to take a break. Some time to make plans for the future, get organized, and just rest from the pressure I’ve put on myself for this blog.

This could be a week or a month, I don’t know. But my own schedule, now that I’ve graduated AND it’s gardening season, is HECTIC. So if I can nail down a return date, I’ll pop back in to share that. I also have one life update post that I will probably share before I actually start writing again.

Sooo . . .

I’m sorry, guys. 😉 I really do want to continue this blog, I just need some time away from it.

So without further ado . . .

. . . I bid you all a very fond (temporary) farewell.
